Call for Volunteers: Poster Judges Needed at CSM 2025!

The Academy is seeking volunteers to serve as judges for poster presentations at CSM 2025 in Houston. This is a great opportunity to engage with cutting edge research, expand your professional network, and gain experience in conference judging. February 13th:

2025 Houston CSM Community Call to Action: APTA CVP Partners with APTA & others at CSM to Promote Awareness of Domestic Violence and Raise Funds for Houston Area Women’s Center

October 2024, the CVP Academy tragically lost a shining star and emerging leader of our organization; Christa Nicole Bauer (aka, Christa Gilley) was murdered in an act of Domestic Violence. At CSM in 2025, we will honor Christa's life and legacy at our membership meeting & other events while raising awareness and funds for Domestic Violence.

Thursday at CSM, we are in partnership with APTA and its components to encourage individuals to wear something purple, the color for Domestic Violence.

We are also raising awareness and funds through button sales with proceeds going to the local, state-of-art Houston Area Women's Center. Visit their website to learn more. QR code / link will be coming early 2025.
