the Revised VTE Guidelines are currently accepted to be published  in PT Journal and should be available in early 2022.  Thank you to all who reviewed the document.  In addition there will be a presentation on Case Studies to understand the new VTE guidelines at CSM live and also ON DEMAND following the conference.

Join Academy President, Angela Campbell, and Academy Program Chair, Melissa Bednarek on Thursday September 30th from 7:00-7:45pm Eastern (4:00-4:45pm Pacific) for a Behind the Board Virtual Town Hall. This Town Hall meeting will feature:

• Re-cap of the 2021 APTA House of Delegates
• Introduction of our new APTA CVP Academy 2021-2022 Strategic Goals/Plans
• CSM 2022 updates

Plenty of time will be made for an open forum for both Q & A and member meet & greet.

Newly elected officers will assume their positions after the CSM 2022 Academy Business Meeting.  We invite you to nominate yourself or other Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Academy Members to be slated for these positions.

Title: Roadmap to the CCS

Description: Please join us for a free webinar sponsored by the Academy of Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Physical Therapy. This Webinar is designed for people who are interested in taking the Cardiovascular and Pulmonary Specialty (CCS) Examination. Speakers will discuss eligibility, the application process and recommendations on how to successfully prepare for the exam. They will also go over some sample test questions and answer participant questions.

Call for Session Proposals

Proposals for educational sessions and preconference courses must be submitted online through APTA's submission site. The decision as to whether to accept a proposal and matters regarding the final content, format, and scheduling of any presentation, rest with each academy/section as represented by that entity’s program chair.
